Extended Support has ended for Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2

Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 reached the end of their support lifecycle on the 14th of January 2020. There are no plans for free security updates, non-security updates, free support options, or online technical content updates after this date. Microsoft recommends migrating to Microsoft Azure, or the latest version of other environments. Read more about end of support from Microsoft here.
